The “Sea Mart / Yard Birds Special” drag boat was owned and raced by Bernie Sederberg of “Bernie’s Custom Paint” in Olympia. Bernie was sponsored by Yard Birds for at least 4 years. During that time the boat was competitively raced up and down the west coast. When not racing, the boat could be seen in parades with Bernie dressed like the Yard Bird throwing wooden nickels or on display at the Yard Birds/Sea Mart stores.
The boat was sold in the mid 70’s and its current whereabouts are unknown. If you have any more information about this boat, please let us know.
